We headed out to Thanksgiving Point this afternoon to check out Corn Belly's Corn Maze and Pumpkin Fest! I've been wanting to take Allie to a pumpkin patch all season...so I managed to wait until the last minute! I must say - I wasn't prepared for the magnitude of this place, but we had a ball!!!
It was super helpful having Nana and Pappaw with us since we decided to bring Kaiya.

The weather was PERFECT to be outside enjoying the activities!! Although - it was a little warm if you decided to wear a North Face sweater like me...North Face = WARM...a little Too warm.

There were great wooden playsets set up all around the field...and although it took Allie a little bit to warm up to climbing and playing around on them - she had a blast!

Nana and Pappaw sat down with Allie to watch a little Corn Belly musical with electronic puppets...
Allie really loves singing and music, so she enjoyed clapping along to the music!!
And this is my FAVORITE picture of the day....C-L-A-S-S-I-C!!

There was a LOT of hay for Allie to climb around...and as usual...it took her a bit to warm up to playing around...
Pappaw had to help nudge her into playing...
BUT EVENTUALLY....she started to get the hang of being a two year old!

Allie insisted on "milking" the cow and I think that this idea came from when Bana and Kristin brought Allie to Thanksgiving Point. She HAD to sit and do this!!

So FINALLY....Allie got a bit comfortable with the hay...and had a BLAST playing in the hay pit...
She covered herself up in the hay and ended up having hay EVERYWHERE....how do you get it in your diaper?!?!
They had to pull Allie out of the hay pit kicking and screaming...but we quickly went on to something else! We didn't get any pumpkins to carve since Halloween is tomorrow...and Allie is probably a little too young to have fun with it...so we'll wait until next year to start that tradition!

All in all - Corn Belly's was AWESOME and we will do this next year!!
