My SMART girl

Yesterday I talked about my BIG girl...today I'm going to talk about my SMART girl!

We already know that Allie is smart...at least to us, right? Unfortunately, we, personally are not around other children Allie's age to compare. Allie's teachers are always telling us how smart she is...but don't they say that to all the parents?

She does really well at speaking in complete sentences...she can memorize songs super easily....but we stumbled upon our validation by accident tonight...

Let me set up the story for you...

Brad got a new phone - he traded his iPhone in for a Droid....and he has a program that will feature an app a day for free. Allie loves her TV - yes - I'm guilty for letting her watch educational programs only (Brad is a different story...) and she loves Super Why. So when Brad's program featured a Super Why game for free...he got it!

Tonight we let her play with the game on his phone just to give her something to do....

I already knew that Allie could sing her alphabets...that was one of her FIRST songs she learned...and I knew that she could recognize a few letters here and there...but we were not prepared for this!!!

Here's Allie at 25 months...playing the Super Why game...and please excuse the hair...it was right before bedtime and Allie had "CRAZY HAIR" as she likes to call it!!

So yes - I'm going to toot my own daughter's horn (what parent doesn't, right?!?!) and announce that I think she's SOOO smart! I love this little silly billy!!!
