Tonight, I thought it would be a good idea to hike up to the Living Room after work for a dinner and to watch the sunset go down. We had a bit of a late start and didn't quite make it to the top with the sun already going down. We stopped on a small lookout for dinner and watched the sun go down before heading back down in the dark.
Watching the sun set and seeing Salt Lake was beautiful but lonely. Although I had company on the hike, it made me think about how far away my Allie was and how much I miss her and can't wait for her to get out here to Utah so that she can see and do things with me and Brad.
I'm continuing to keep busy so that I don't dwell on the missing piece of my heart back in South Carolina - funny faces and all!
