Cupcakes and a Laundry Basket

I had the day off from work today for the 4th and I had a lot of things to do - so Allie went to daycare. (I am working on a scrapbook as a wedding gift for my BFF and let's face it - you can't scrapbook at a scrapbooking store with a 2 year old!)

I came home from the scrapbook store to do a little cleaning and decided to bake some cupcakes. A friend at work made a Coke Cake and it was so yummy, I wanted to make it for Brad. I figured that cupcakes were the way to go since they are easier to give out at work than leftover cake - so cupcakes it was!

Allie LOVES cupcakes. She's really only had them at daycare for birthdays there...remember this post?

I went to pick Allie up from daycare and said, "Let's go eat some cupcakes." On the way home, she started giggling and said, "I wuv cupcakes!"

As soon as we got home...she had to have one! And she dug right in!!

After dinner (homemade meatballs and spaghetti - this pregnancy makes me want to cook for some reason!) I had some laundry to fold and of course, Allie had to play in the basket. I remember playing in clothes basket when I was little - there's something about it that is so much fun!!!

She would lay down and then jump up and scream, "I awake!" Then Brad got a hold of her and shook things up a bit...literally!
