Halfway there...

Meaning - just 3 more days until Daddy comes home. I do swear that every time I go through having to deal with Allie alone, I am humbled that my mom (and many other moms) was able to do this full time with 3 of us...

Allie has been asking for Daddy every DAY! But soon after her question, she immediately says, "Daddy in Georgia" so she knows he's not here.

I've been giving in to temptation and when she gets up in the middle of the night asking for Daddy...I bring her in to lay down with me...Guilty because if I get up and try to console her and put her back in her bed....I know I'll be up for another hour or so. I haven't been sleeping well these past few days anyway, so it's so much easier to just bring her in bed with me. Well, the little booger has gotten to where she smooshes up next to me before she falls back to sleep. She'll either smoosh her face next to mine or put her arm over mine. It's sweet...but annoying after a few hours!!

But I will say that Allie has been an amazing kid through all of this! Last night for dinner, we had salmon with a side of rice and asparagus. Allie ate all of her salmon and rice...she only touched her asparagus to move it from her plate to mine while she said her norm, "I don't like it!" I really couldn't even get her to try it...but I was happy that she ate the salmon!

This morning we woke up and she was in an extremely good mood!

She talked all the way to daycare and said she was excited to see all her friends...and then proceeded to name them, one by one...over and over again...Krista (her teacher that she loves!), Lily (her other teacher), Jack, Joshua, Braxton, Levin...the list goes on and on....

When we got to daycare, she ran into the run yelling, "I running!"

And soon sat down to start her breakfast...with her friends. Especially enjoying her milk while sitting next to her friend, Jack!

After my hugs and kisses, I had to snap this one last photo because they are all so cute at their little mini table. They all manage to sit so quietly and nicely...that it's hard to believe that they are all under two...seriously - how do they do that?!?!
