This morning, I felt the need to go out for breakfast...simply because we had nothing to eat at home...and by nothing to eat...I mean weekend breakfast foods...biscuits, bacon, etc. So we went to the next best place...Cracker Barrel!
Allie does pretty well keeping herself entertained at restaurants. We've never had a problem keeping her quiet or having her want to run around. Cracker Barrel is especially easy because of the little peg game...however this time around, Allie quickly bored of it. She'll usually line up all the pegs by color and then put them methodically back on the triangle...but this time...not so much. So we did the next best thing and pulled out the sugar caddy! Allie would dump out the caddy and then put all the sugar and substitutes back by color...She's such a methodical kid...

And since I had my phone out taking pictures, I had Allie practice her "cheeses" for me! I got two completely different looks!!

As we approached the store, I remembered the little 50 cent ride that Allie had ridden before a few months ago. Not sure where Brad was at the time, but she had a lot of fun. As we were walking in, I made sure I had two quarters. As Brad stuck the quarters in and plopped Allie on it...this is what we were hit by...Worry, concern and a lack of interest. Bye Bye fifty cents!!!

Later on in the afternoon, we headed to the grocery store (told you...busy day!) and since a few weeks ago, I bought Allie a cupcake and never actually gave it to her...I told Brad I was getting her another...and giving it to her...TODAY!
She was the happiest person ever!!

And one other purchase we made at Babies R Us was something we've been meaning to get for a long, long time... Allie doesn't have her own place in the living room to sit! When she watches TV, she'll usually lean against the ottoman or sit on top of the ottoman. I've been wanting to get her a nice sofa chair or a rocking chair and we finally got one today! I didn't realize how much she'd love it, or how quickly she'd take to it, but the girl LOVES, LOVES, LOVES her chair! Daddy pushed up the chest that we use to put our drinks on as her little table and it's just perfect for her!!
Since she loved it so much, we decided to let her eat lunch in the living room today!!
