For whatever reason, I got a wild hair today and decided today would be the day that I would start working out. Just out of the blue..well - not really. I hate the fact that I dread weighing myself in the mornings...and I wanted to start doing something about it today instead of continue to talk about it.
Well who knew that my mom was right (although I knew it deep down) - exercising actually gives you MORE energy! Tuesdays and Thursdays are my early days at work - in at 4:00 am out at 1:00 pm and I am usually so exhausted by the time I got home. Well after my workout - I not only came home with tons of energy, I cleaned Allie's room, the office, my bedroom and the kitchen. It wasn't until I put Allie down for the night did I start to feel a little weary. So here I am...a little weary.
But I did manage to get some fun pictures of Allie - eating...again! Give me at least another week - the cuteness and newness of Allie eating cereal will wear off and it will be another few months before I begin snapping away when she eats...but I just think it is adorable!
After Allie ate her cereal, my mom and I were snacking on some apples. Allie slowly leaned in and reached for a piece - we let her gnaw on it for a little while to see what happened - supervised, of course...and she sucked on it for awhile. Then I took it away from her and she IMMEDIATELY arched that back and started crying...it was like I took candy away from a baby! Crazy! We didn't let her have it for long - we took it away and Allie's apple experience was no more!
Allie has been making a new face the past few days - she's been lowering her head and cutting her eyes back up at you...so cute...almost like she's telling you with her eyes th
at she's not happy!

So, with all my energy today, I wanted to do a few things in this post since ever since when...these posts have been short, sweet and late getting posted.
The first thing I wanted to do was get a few more pictures of my baby. I've really been slacking with the photos and I just don't feel like I'm capturing...her. She has these gorgeous eyelashes that I am having a hard time getting into a picture...here's my latest feeble attempt. In addition - I just wanted to get some photos of her personality. I'm still working on capturing the personality!

The second thing I wanted to was post a few current events so that when and if Allie looks back on these posts - she'll be able to read some of the things going on while she's 4 months old...I'll work on the second thing...American Idol is on.... :-)
Oh my, how I live for your blog! The latest pics of Allie are hilarious... esp. the one where she looks so mad. Adorable. I know she's loving the cereal. I used to miss cereal and applesauce... they love it.
ReplyDeleteAnd big kuddos to you for making gym time. To do that with you're crazy schedule is admirable... you're an inspiration to me to do the same. Hugs, Mom
