ABC's

I am amazed at how Allie is progressing....with everything! It wasn't until I picked up a copy of What to Expect - The second year...that I actually realized how amazing she is!!

She does so much - she has a picture book that she loves. She can name almost everything in that book. She can tell you what noises all the animals make, she can pretend to play and feed her babydolls, she can spend hours swaddling them and unswaddling them. She can tell you all the shapes, find the correct slot for the shapes in her toy ball, she can use a fork and spoon on her own... She loves to babble and her vocabulary is off the charts. She can make small sentences and can look at pictures of all her classmates and tell you his or her name. She babbles in the morning about seeing Misael or Joshua or Jack! Brad swears she is color blind because she doesn't quite know her colors yet. Although she does love red. Every color is red!

She has shown quite the interest in learning her ABC's. She can sing certain strings or the alphabet song and I know she gets frustrated that she can't sing the song by herself, but I love her for trying!!
