Swimming

I will need to post pictures from Allie's Uncle John and Aunt Jennifer's wedding yesterday soon! Allie was a little flower girl and took her job totally too serious!! I'll post a few later and explain when I get to the photos from the wedding! Allie behaved so well and I am truly so lucky to have a fantastic little girl!

Today was Nana and Pappaw's day with Allie. We decided that it would be a good time for Allie to get in the pool again. The last time she was in a pool was before she was one when we took a family vacation to Myrtle Beach. Such a long time ago! We've signed her up for swimming lessons in June, but thought it would be fun to see how she reacted.

She wasn't a fan at first, but slowly warmed up! Nana and Pappaw have a few floaties for Emory that we used and Allie seemed to do okay - especially on the float...

Until Brad almost let her fall backwards - then she was done with the float she was sitting on!

We made sure to use earplugs (or as Allie calls them 'e-quox') and she seemed to really enjoy the water!

She started kicking and then smiling saying, "S-wimming!!"


She was still a Nervous Nancy and didn't want us to let go of her with the floats on - but by the end of the day, she wanted the floaties off!


I was so proud of my little baby for not being too scared of the water! Swimming lessons start June 11th and I can't wait! We had a blast a Nana and Pappaw's and even got to see Aunt Chrissy, Uncle Greg, Emory and Shay for a bit before we left. Allie enjoyed playing with Shay and Emory and it just makes me want to move back home even more!
