Day 211 - Rewind to Thursday

Seeing as how I was completely and utterly out of it Thursday - I forgot to post a very important first in Allie's life.

We have lived in this house for about 26 months. We have this gorgeous jacuzzi tub in our master bathroom that we have never ever used.

Since I was so sick - my mom's motto to breaking a fever: Sweat it out!

She cleaned the tub and filled it up with piping hot water! I felt like Bugs Bunny stepping into the stew pot that Elmer Fudd made for him....hot...hot....ahhhhhh.......

Well, wait a second - I grabbed Allie's soothing bubble bath, poured in half the bottle and started the jets up. Before I knew it, bubbles were EVERYWHERE! When my mom came in, she said, "Let Allie come in and play!'

And that's exactly what we did - let Allie play in her first bubble bath. I must say, the bubbles did get out of control. Allie didn't know quite what to think about them, but in the end - she didn't cry...and if you know Allie, that's a big accomplishment!!!

I love the look on her face in this picture...she's almost like, "Uh - what in the hell is this white stuff and why is it in my face?! Help?"

For today's actual photo - I stuck Allie in the floor in the foyer this morning where Kitty usually wallows to soak in the morning sun. Kitty HATES Allie, so whenever I sat Allie down next to her, she immediately jumped up to find a different spot. Since Allie was there - I figured I would snap a few shots, since it was such gorgeous sunlight!

Oh - and she learned how to clap a few days ago...although it is a very "dainty" clap - almost like a snooty golf clap that doesn't make any noise....it's a clap!

The last two might possibly be my two favorite pictures of all time - something about it looks so pure and she looks so small and innocent....I don't know why......
