Cutie...with a mouth

Allie has become quite the chatty cathy lately...and very opinionated...

We got up this morning and Allie thought she'd go hang out in her new favorite place to watch tv...under our barstool.

This is Allie saying, "No mommy..." and pointing to tell me not to take a picture of her...



So I took some photos anyway!!







Later on that afternoon, I came home and we had some snuggle time on the couch. She has been wanting to lay on top of me lately (I think she's secretly trying to crush her sister) and I snapped this photo that I love...why can't I have eyes like that? Eyelashes that long....I do think she has my flat nose though!!



When I pick her up from daycare...I better have a drink and crunchy cracker in hand. I thought I would try something different since the apple juice boxes have so much sugar. We went with the Capri Sun flavored water drink this time. I didn't know if I could trust Allie to not squeeze the pouch and spill the juice all over...and it turns out - I had nothing to worry about. She didn't take her mouth off the pouch until she had sucked it dry. Then I heard, "All gone..." and then "more..."



This kid...I love her to death!!

Later on - she picked up her Violet the dog doll that Aunt Jennifer and Uncle John gave her for her birthday. She hasn't really played with it a lot since the battery died down, but she picked it up, so I made Brad change out the battery. This toy is programmed with Allie's name and some of her favorite things and I overheard her playing in the living room with it. Violet said, "I love you, Allie." As I rounded the corner, I saw Allie hugging Violet and said, "I love you, Violet."

My heart melted a little....
