A few catch up pictures

Here's a few photos from Allie's Spring Fling on May 25th - her first ever "school performance!" I must say I was so excited to go and watch! As chaotic as it was - Allie did good in that A) she didn't cry and B) she managed to sing a little once they were able to get in to it!

You can see her apprehension, right?!

Thanks to Allie, we now know all the kids in her classroom. She comes home sometimes from daycare and talks about all her friends...from left to right in the picture above - Avin, Jack, Joshua, Allie (of course), Levin and Braxton! Allie knows every one of their names!!

In the picture below - you can see her start to warm up. The first song they sang was The Wheels on the Bus. That was pretty chaotic with the newness of being in front of people on a stage! But by the time they got to If You're Happy and You Know It....Allie was feelin' it!

Check out this face!!! I love it!!

Later that weekend, Brad's brother John got married and Allie had the honor of being a flower girl...and I had the honor of being the official photographer! John's fiance, Jennifer, is awesome and yes - now there are two Jennifer Gideon's in this family! Jennifer's mother made dresses for all the flower girls. I was so impressed at how well behaved Allie was all day!

We ended up taking my mom to help us since I was going to be photographing, Brad was a groomsman - so we needed all the help we could get!

I must say that Allie was pretty cute.....yes - I'm biased, but come on! Look at her!

My mom was so happy to have Allie around! It's not a "job" to keep up with Allie if you're a grandparent!

Here's Allie taking a gander at the bride in all her gorgeousness!

Allie took her job as a flower girl VERY seriously! She was the last flower girl to walk down the aisle before Jennifer walked down the aisle. She wouldn't move a step forward until those flower petals were out of her bucket. So much so that she started to hold up the wedding. I kept saying, "Come on, Allie! Come to mommy!" She wouldn't even look up from her bucket to acknowledge me! I even actually looked at someone close to her and said, "Push her!" but they just laughed at me...I was totally serious!! Finally, I had to call in my mom to take her....she had a few flower petals that were stuck in her bucket...and she wasn't moving!!

It was a fantastic day for a wedding and was a lot of fun to shoot!!
