...since Allie's birthdate, anyway! Last Monday, my mom got super sick with some crazy stomach bug and had it for 3 days...It finally hit me last night...and hit me hard. I got up this morning with every intention of going to work, but after I got out of the shower, I was pretty certain, there was no way I was going to be able to make it into work. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy!!
I would like to say that I got to stay home and soak up some time with my daughter, but I spent most of the day in bed...actually, either in bed or in the bathroom, living on chicken soup - not the best day.
My mom got me out of bed to see how Allie had fallen asleep for one of her naps...
One of my most favorite photographers ever - Amber Holritz - takes these amazing lifestyle baby photographs. The image that I have been trying to replicate is one that she takes of babies eyes...their eyes seem like glass and you can almost see her reflection in them. I have been trying and trying to replicate this image with Allie and this is my latest feeble attempt...
