Day 170 - The mission

Today's mission: Peas

Peas? you ask? Yes, peas.

Allie turned 6 months Friday (HAPPY 6 MONTH BIRTHDAY, ALLIE!) For her birthday, we bought her peas.

It was a long, hard decision to decide on what to get her....peas, green beans, sweet potatoes, corn? In the end, we decided on the peas.

Unfortunately, due to the crazy weekend visit in Tennessee, we just didn't have a chance to let her try the peas out....with all of us present, that is - me, Brad and my mom.

So as soon as we got home today, we fed them to her....

First reaction....(sorry about the focus problems....)

Second reaction....much better!

She finished off the whole jar! All was well until we laid her down. Brad and I headed out to grab some dinner for the family tonight and mom stayed back to put up the carload of stuff we managed to bring home. A few minutes later when she went back in to check on her....she had ralphed all the peas back up....all over her face, her crib and everywhere else. But...she wasn't upset. Mom said that when she came in and noticed it...Allie looked up and giggled at her!

We'll try the peas again tomorrow...just maybe not so much of it!!
