What a Sunday!
What a Saturday night! Yesterday, Brad and I went on a diet cheating spree with a stop at Cold Stone Creamery after we indulged in Brad's favorite restaurant, Ausburg Haus. At Ausburg Haus, we had dessert (which we NEVER have...) - we had apple strudel and ice cream. I gave Allie a few bites of ice cream just to see what her reaction would be, but just a few. Of course, she loved it! We went shopping a bit and then hit up Cold Stone Creamery. My mom isn't a big fan of ice cream, but she LOVES the butter pecan at Cold Stone. On our way home, mom sat in the back seat enjoying her ice cream. Later that night, Allie had a super hard time going down for the night. She kept squealing at the top of her lungs and flailing her arms and legs about....almost as if she had TOO much energy...
Once my mom fessed up after about 9:00 (Allie usually goes down about 7:30) that she fed Allie "some" of her butter pecan ice cream. I think she used the word "some" very loosely! I made my mom stay up as long as Allie did and she vowed never to give Allie ice cream again! :-)
So - later that night, Allie got up fussing and crying so I snuck her in bed with me and we cuddled the rest of the night. I know - I've got to quit sneaking her into our bed, but I know she won't be cuddly for very long....
We got up this morning (very groggily on my part) and headed to church. I didn't take any pictures today because we had already taken pictures of her before with this outfit - this is from another post...When we got to church - Kelly had Allie's Easter gift waiting for us when we arrived...a cute chickie stuffed animal and a Snow White DVD! (We're terrible - we didn't get Allie an actual Easter basket - instead just gave her some bunny themed toys!)

Afterward, we headed out for more shopping. I've never been one for shopping, until Allie came along. Yesterday we went to Babiesaurus and today we hit up Buy Buy Baby....we spent a lot of money! Yesterday, my mom bought Allie the traditional high chair, today, Brad and I bought her the high chair that clips onto the table or in our case, the kitchen bar. Still trying to figure out which one we like - the good thing about the clipping high chair - called the Meetoo chair - is that it is portable, so we can take it to restaurants with us and not have to use the restaurant chairs...So, below are a few of Allie, in her different high chairs eating her veggie of the week - which is carrots. Peas and carrots - check. She's not a fan of the peas, but loves the carrots. Next week, we'll switch back to a green veggie and try green beans!
I think I like both chairs, but I am favoring the Meetoo chair only because we always eat at the bar and never eat at the breakfast table....
But anywho - we had a fabulous day and I am not ready for work tomorrow!
Happy Easter!!
