Day 182 - Happy birthday to me

Ugh - I've realized that as you get older, birthdays just don't mean as much. I used to get so excited about my birthday, planning an evening out to the bar with friends and getting a little tipsy...

Today, all I wanted was to pretend it wasn't my birthday at work and then just come home and hang out with the family!

Brad and Kelly managed to get me a DVD of New Moon - and I'll keep both - and then Brad gave me the open ticket to eat WHEREVER I WANTED! Where did I want to go?? Korean restaurant! Brad's not a fan of the Korean food, so I had to take advantage of the free reign for dinner!

I chose a new place that we had not tried before and although the ambiance was little to be desired (it looked like an old diner) and we were the only patrons aside from the few other Koreans that lingered in afterward - it turned out to be pretty darn good!

Brad was even pleasantly surprised by the noodle dish he ordered!

Allie gave me a huge birthday surprise by saving all her poop for the day for an after dinner surprise where it started oozing out of her diaper like the play doh factory...and the restaurant had no baby changing station or hardly any standing room in the restroom - so we had to do the next best thing and go to a corner booth and change her right there in the restaurant. This is typically something I would NEVER do, but given the circumstance, establishment and lack of patrons, I decided that I got a by in the poopy diaper etiquette arena!

Brad and my mom also surprised me by telling me that they collectively bought me the Rosetta Stone for Korean...which I am super stoked about!!

This was the only picture of Allie I had of the day - Brad was texting his friend back and forth with random pictures of their beer...and Allie happened to be in one of them!!
