Today, Brad and I took off to Atlanta around 2:00 for a weekend retreat. For Brad's birthday back in March, he bought himself some tickets to see Coheed and Cambria and wanted to eat at the Vortex Bar and Grill (we had see this restaurant on the Travel Channel on Man vs. Food!)
As we left the house, I couldn't help but be sad that I would be without my Allie tonight...I even felt a little guilty for leaving - not sure why, but I just didn't want to go. As I said goodbye to my mom and Allie, I just wanted to stay home and be a part of the girl's night that they were going to have without me.
Brad and I had a wonderful time at dinner, did a little shopping and enjoyed the concert...although my ears are still ringing from the show, but I can't wait to get home to my baby girl.
Although I didn't take a picture of Allie today (I was late getting home and Brad HATES not leaving on time when he has something in his head...) I do have one from last night that might be one of my favorites of all time...
