We had the pleasure of being a part of Haley Munn's first birthday! Justin and Jill are old friends...wow - have we known each other that long....from my Milliken days. Although we haven't seen them in years...we were finally able to visit for this monumental occasion! I was so excited to get my hands on Haley and gaze into those beautiful eyes...check out her eyelashes...I've never seen fake eyelashes this long...much less real baby eyelashes!!! Couldn't you just die over eyelashes like that!!!So Haley's first birthday and Allie's first birthday party - I must say, Allie held up exceptionally well - hardly any crying! Haley was so fun to watch and it was fun to think about Allie being that age soon. I overheard Brad and Justin talking and Brad inquired, "So is it more fun at that age (Brad points to Haley) or at this age (he then points to Allie)?" Justin confidently answers, "Definitely this age (pointing to Haley). When they're Allie's age, you don't know what they want. Haley is pretty much happy all the time unless she's stuck in a carseat too long." I love listening to daddies talk about their babies!

After we left the party, we decided to head to the mall in Columbia since it is bigger than the one we have here in Augusta...big mistake. Although we didn't have anything major shake down...ie blowouts or meltdowns...I couldn't stand the crowds and the waiting, so we left. We headed to Fudruckers - our favorite burger place and then we were off to the house. When we arrived back home - Mamma-san was waiting to go to the mall to finish her Christmas shopping. I was planning on leaving Brad and Allie home together...but I don't think Brad was quite ready to be alone with Allie again after the last time they stayed home together...hours of nonstop crying!
So we ventured to the mall, then to Kohl's with a quick stop by Babiesaurus (Babies R Us) for a feeding. As a mom - you HAVE to love the Mother's Room - such a lifesaver. Then for some reason, we thought we could manage dinner at a restaurant...it was about 9:00. I don't know why we thought we could push our luck...but we did...and as soon as our food got there - Allie decided she had enough! We quickly boxed up our food and headed home. WHAT A DAY!!!! I'll be glad when the holidays are over!
When we got home - I checked my email and was surprised to find that the new mommy site I joined had featured some of my photos on their webpage...On the front!! I was pretty stoked...even if it really isn't a big deal to the site!!
Thanks again for coming to Haley's party and taking such great pictures. It so good to see y'all and we'll have to get together again soon.
