Day 53 - Long Day

This morning started off just like every other morning except we had to get ready to go to my checkup at the doctor. In a previous post, I mentioned how I got my days mixed up so today was my rescheduled appointment...at 10:30...at 11:30 - I finally got in to the exam room. By 12:00, I was finally seen by the doctor - All the while, I have Allie in tow, wincing at ever nod or movement coming out of her carseat! She did awesome I must say - she started to whine about 11:00 and I just picked her up and rocked in her in the waiting room. So - I'm all clear...back to normal and that's that!!

We met Brad out for lunch and at 4:00, we were prepared to go pick up Bana at the airport, but turns out her flight was delayed out of Atlanta. So Allie and I just hung out the rest of the evening until her flight got into Augusta at 8:00.

Allie was up last night until 11:00 for some reason. We kept her up until 10:00 playing with her and making her laugh. When we put her down at 10:00, she stayed up until 11:00 in her crib - hanging out watching the mobile until she drifted off. She's only been getting up 1 - 2 times a night to eat, butlast night, she got up all 3 times. No big deal, but I'm to the point where I think she can start sleeping through the night. I honestly think she could get through the whole night now anyway - it's just the gas and poops that wake her up. We'll see how the next few weeks go - before I have to go back to work. :-(

Here's the cutest video ever of Allie! In her complete exhaustion from yesterday's marathon wake time - she was super restless, but finally managed to drift asleep....she has the funniest little whiney cry ever!! Well - it's funny for the first few minutes...anything longer than that...ugh.
