We were a bit selfish this evening in that to celebrate the 2 week birthday, Brad and I went out for dinner and left Allie at home with Mammaw...she all but pushed us out the door! I think she secretly wanted the evening alone with Allie! But we had a great time - we hit up the infamous seafood buffet at the Double Tree and I was quite impressed!!!
We also decided that tonight we are going to start the Babywise schedule. Babywise is a methodology to regulate a child's eat, wake, sleep patterns in the hopes that the baby will begin sleeping through the night...the book says....by 6-7 weeks old. We'll see how it goes - with her gassy belly and past few nights of crying, I am skeptical, but will try it out!
In the meantime - 14 day old picture taken by Mammaw...I was quite impressed that she has developed her sense of....being able to capture things through a camera....whether it be a movie camera or digital camera...she used to try to video my basketball games when I was little and all we ended up seeing was the ceiling in the gym...so I'm proud of her!!!
