Day 6 - Some good lookin' Grandparents!!!

Today marks that day that all grandparents have officially met Allorah Li Gideon. Keith and Tip came to visit on Saturday at the hospital. My mom was at the delivery; however during my hospital stay, stayed at home with my older brother that came to visit in order to let Brad and I have some time with the baby to ourselves and to let Keith and Tip soak up as much time with Allie as possible.

My mom has pretty much had Allie to herself since Monday afternoon...until today!

Karen flew in from Austin to meet her first grandbaby...and we are still trying to think of what we will call her...we've thrown around a couple of nicknames, but haven't really settled on anything in particular. I like Kaykay and we could call Kristin, KiKi, but we'll have to get consent from all before making it official!

And I got to be honest with you - none of the grandparents, look like grandparents. I don't know - I guess when I think of grandparents, I think of completely gray haired ladies at the beauty salon that get their hair set every week and drive big ole Buicks or Caddy's and in terms of grandfathers...those old men in Hardees early Saturday mornings with their mesh tractor hats, holey overalls and smell like earth. I think Allie might have the coolest grandparents around...but that's my opinion...take a look for yourself!!

My mom and Karen are having an absolute blast with Allie tonight and it just makes me smile. It also takes a bit of a load off of me for a little while because I know she's in good hands and I can just relax! I have been so tired lately from the lack of sleep...(more than normal!) that I believe it is starting to take its toll out on my body!
