Day 52 - What did I do to you?

Last night - I got some wild hair to redo my photography website (www.gideonparkphotography.com) and start the blog for it. I have to go back through all my sessions throughout this year and blog about them...it takes a long time and I'm still not done! I've been skipping around here and there...but I was up until 2:00 am last night working on it. I couldn't go to sleep, so I decided to stay up until Allie woke up to eat. At 3:00 am I turned in for the night...still thinking about all the other blogs I would need to post. At 5:30 am I woke up to Allie coughing...she's been getting a lot of drool lately and in her sleep, I guess she just got choked on it. Being the paranoid mother I am (gimme a break - I've only been at this for 7 weeks!), I thought she was going to choke and quit breathing for some odd reason. I fed her at 6:00 am and then slept with her on the recliner until Brad got up this morning. I don't know why...

So I had little to no sleep last night. No sleep makes for a cranky Jennifer. A cranky Jennifer makes for a very cranky Allie! We spent most of today yelling back and forth at each other...I wasn't going to give in and cry. At one point this morning, I emailed Brad and told him - I can't do it anymore. Around 3:00 this afternoon, she FINALLY went down for a nap for about an hour and I passed out right after her. She dozed in and out until Brad got home and then we ate dinner and he gave her a bath and put her right to sleep. Brad and I seem to be having these see saw days where Allie will be super good for me, but then fussy with him...then she'll be really good with him and then be cranky with me. Well - at least one of us can soothe her!

But today, while she was crying in her crib during my "I need 15 minutes to myself" breaks, Lando was keeping his buddy company while she cried. He seems to want to be in the same room with her when she cries. If we're in the same room when she is crying, he gets up and looks at us in the face, almost to say, "Get her, get her, get her!"
