Allie hit another milestone today that caused us to have to lower her crib mattress yet again - she pulled herself up!
This week she has progressively gotten better at maneuvering from a crawling position to a sitting position - yeah, not so much at crawling...yet. After I put Allie down for a nap today, I went into her room to check on her and she was sitting up in her crib playing with her toys. I was planning on taking a nap myself, so when I went to lay down in bed, I turned on her video monitor and watched her play. I watched her slowly fiddle around with the slats on the crib and then she started to inch her way up. I jumped up and ran to her bedroom with and Brad followed behind me. She had pulled herself onto her knees and was just peering at us with a huge grin over her crib! Brad helped her up from her knees to her feet and she was SO PROUD of herself!!
Later on today - as I was finally getting in that nap - Brad and Allie were playing and he watched her pull herself up, all by herself!
Very soon after, Brad was busy lowering the crib down to the last notch on the crib!
Today we headed out to Wild Wings for lunch...
Allie thought Brad's beer was something to put her poofy snacks into...Luckily, Brad and his catlike reflexes were able to save the beer from having a peach flavored additive in poofy form!
