Day 274 - BIG DAY....HUGE!!!!

For the past month or so...Allie has been doing her little "belly scoot" to get around. She hasn't been on the floor much, so I didn't expect much more. I thought, for sure, after she started daycare, she would pick up with the crawling. A few days ago, when I picked her up, I asked, "How's she doing on the floor? Is she getting better at crawling?" Response, "She can crawl?" She went on to explain that Allie pretty much is content sitting in one spot on the floor.

Today, when I brought her home, I had a glimmer of hope when she propped up on her hands and knees, then quickly went back down to her belly for more scooting! But soon after....

Again - one of the coolest things with babies (that no one tells you) is the joy that they bring to others in addition to you. I was just as happy watching Brad (my husband who rarely gets excited about ANYTHING) giggle like a little school girl!!!
