Day 295 - Picky eater

I think that Allie is starting to become a bit of a picky eater - or she's still sick and a bit tired...one of the two.

During dinner tonight, Allie started eating some steamed squash, zucchini, carrots and peas. I noticed she wasn't eating much, so I held a piece of the zucchini to her mouth. SHE GAVE ME YUCK FACE! Do you believe it? Yuck face!! She wasn't interested in the veggies tonight, so we turned to some pureed beef, peas and sweet 'taters. She gobbled it up. I thought that maybe she was just tired and didn't feel up to "working" at eating, so I gave her some watermelon and apples afterward...gobbled those up too! What's up, man? I'm not going to have another picky eater in this house! I think the battle is beginning!

She was a happy baby today...she kept clapping her hands during dinner!

She even had a try at using a spoon! This was not posed! She got it in her mouth on her own...once!
