Day 31 - Happy Birthday Mammaw!!

Today - my mom turned the big 5-9!!! First thing this morning, I woke up to feed Allie at 6:00 am and told my mom Happy Birthday...she looked at me for a second and then said, "Oh, I forgot it was my birthday." I don't know if I buy it or not, but she did seem genuinely surprised!

For her birthday...Allie decided to stay awake ALL day and ALL night! For whatever reason, Allie cannot seem to settle into a nap or sleep time. She does alright falling asleep...it's staying asleep that she's been having trouble with. Hopefully this will pass because she's done so well at sleeping through the night waking only for her feedings.

Brad and I surprised my mom with a Birthday cake from Cold Stone Creamery as well as a few plants for her...she loves her plants! I asked her if she wanted to go out for dinner or if we could order take out...whatever she wanted...and she opted for KFC...go figure!

So - no pictures today...there was no time! Between the birthday shenanigans and the refusal of sleep on Allie's part...I don't even think I brushed my hair! So here's a few pics I pulled off my camera phone for your viewing enjoyment!
