Day 39 - Jealous?

Allie is becoming more and more active in her gym. We do tummy time, just not in long intervals. She can't hold her head up yet, but she does pick it up enough to move it from side to side...I just don't like seeing her head flat against the mat - I don't want her face to become flat like mine!!! During our wake time in the gym - Kitty tends to watch us play because she is super jealous that this isn't HER toy! I have found her a few times sleeping on the mat and batting at the toys hanging from the gym. She isn't too happy that Allie gets free reign on the gym and she is not allowed on it!!

I still find it pretty amazing that Kitty and Lando are so mellow with Allie - not once has either shown any aggression or jealousy towards her and it is such a huge relief for me!

Similar to the mobile, Allie is quite intrigued with the gym day after day. I know I've said it time and time again, but I love watching how amazed and in awe she is of things!

The past week...oh geez - it's only Tuesday and I'm calling it the past week...the past few days have been very trying on me. Again - I commend all you stay at home moms out there! Being alone with baby all day can drive you a bit insane. With me being at home all day, I feel the need to clean or do something in addition to take care of Allie. I've successfully vacuumed, folded laundry, cleaned the dishes (by hand - didn't use the dishwasher!) and cleaned out two junk drawers! Hey - it took me all day, but I felt the need to be productive. Oh - I fed myself too! Didn't quite fit in a shower today, but I took one last night...so that should count, right?

My friend Kelly stopped by to visit in the morning and it was nice to have someone to talk to! She brought Allie the cutest onesie (Kelly - you have to quit buying stuff for her!) for Christmas! I'll have to post some pics in a future post. I do miss having my friends close by, so I cherish the few that I do have in town!
