This is day two of Allie having little to no sleep. I'm not quite sure what's going on - she's eating fine, pooping fine and fine when she's having her wake time...she still falls asleep fine...but as soon as we put her down, she sleeps for 5-10 minutes and then she's up again crying bloody murder! I can't put my finger on it. I don't think it's gas because when we are holding her as she lays down...she's fine. I suppose time will tell. It's just driving me nuts because I can't seem to hold her on any sort of schedule when she's UP the WHOLE time!!!! I suppose that all mothers go through this, but these books make it sound like it's all so easy and natural for them to fall into a normal schedule...then when they don't - you wonder if something is wrong with your baby. But I understand and accept that it is my own neurosis...and I just need to push through it...and she'll eventually work it out...again - my issue with drawing conclusions too early...!!!
Anyhow - Saturday's post mentioned a play gym that we bought Allie...we busted out the gym today to let Allie go for a spin.
She seemed to enjoy it!
The girl has already started making faces in the mirror!!!
Yes - she gets this face from ME! Anyone who knows me has seen this face before!!!
