Day 303 - It's Friday...

Fun Friday...that's what today was! I got to pick Allie up a bit early today. I snuck into the nursery and got to watch her play for awhile without her noticing I was there. It was so much fun and amazing to watch her play with all the toys that were there and while there were other kids around her - some crying, some not - she was in her own little world with her toys! Then she caught a glimpse of me and it was all over!

When we got home, I put her down for a quick nap since Brad and I were going to take her out to eat dinner with us. We then headed out to Logan's Roadhouse! We have to be very careful to pick places that we won't feel bad about when Allie throws food in the floor or screams at the top of her lungs. Not that she does this...at least all the time...but in the rare event that it does happen, we like to be prepared. What better place than restaurant that already has peanuts in the floor! Restaurants always want to seem to give Allie crayons and this time we let her actually use them. She understood the concept, but you could see her mind working as she would study the crayon, her hand and then the paper. She got a few scribbles in, so I was excited that she didn't just want to eat the crayons!

Allie typically does really well in restaurants...until they start yelling or screaming for birthday people. It freaks her out and she immediately starts crying. She's still got a little scaredy cat in her!

We headed to Target to find the girl a little wagon. Her cousin, Jules, had one at the beach and Allie was enamored with it. We've been on the search for one since, but didn't find one until tonight.

But by the time we got home, it was too late for the little tyke to play with it. I just managed to sneak in this quick photo before we turned the lights off!
