Day 322 - Jenn and Rhonda's Excellent Adventure: Day 1

While Jenn is on the road, I am apparently responsible for the daily photo/blogpost. Enjoy!

Jenn here - Rhonda and I have completed Day 1 today making it all the ways to St. Louis...which translates to 13 hours on the road from Augusta. We had lunch today at the Puffy Muffin in Nashville and just finished dinner at the Trailhead Brewing Company in St. Charles, MO. Today we've passed through Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois and Missouri. We going to try to pull 14 hours tomorrow to make it to Cheyenne, Wyoming for the night, leaving us only 6 hours on Friday to make it Salt Lake.

I haven't cried that much today - keeping my focus on the road, the journey and the destination. This morning was definitely the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my life - leave Allie behind. I have to keep telling myself that this is only temporary and that I'll be home soon. My car is a crazy Allie shrine with photos of her everywhere. Every time I look at her pictures, it brings a smile to my face. I love you, Allie and I miss you dearly.
