Good gravy.
Tonight, Allie and I headed over to Kelly's house for a little girl time before I head out west. We hung out with Stefanie and her 15 month old, Nate, and of course, the ever so gorgeous, Kayla. We had pizza, had a few laughs and watched Nate and Allie play together. Allie wouldn't eat any of her baby food, but had a few bites of pizza with me and a bunch of puffs that Nate offered to share. It wasn't until Nate decided to play with the keys that Allie had that she decided to get upset...very upset. Then I realized how hot she was. Fever hot. Before I knew it, her upset - id - ness (yup - I know it's not a word!) turned into vomit. Lots and lots of vomit...all while I was holding her. The first round came up - I tried to console her while holding her....the second round came up. I stood there in disbelief that she puked twice on me and then she threw up again....all while we're in Kelly's living room.
After we get cleaned up...which translates into...after Kelly, Kayla and Stefanie cleaned up and I got some of Kelly's clothes on (that were too tight!), I headed home in embarrassment! I immediately dropped Allie off with my mom and turned around for the drug store for some fever reducer. Once I got in line at the drugstore, I realized that I had on clothes that didn't fit, my hair was all crazy and I smelled like vomit. Oh yeah - I'm definitely a mom now!!
Here's Allie sporting one of my favorite t-shirts!!

Oh gosh - she's SO BIG!
