Second weekend in a row with a busy, busy Sunday!
We woke up bright and early with Allie and headed out for breakfast at Cracker Barrel. Allie proceeded to eat all her cereal and then a half of a pancake! She's got her appetite back! We had to run a couple of errands and then hit up the grocery shopping.
I spent the rest of the afternoon cleaning and organizing so the realtor can come over tomorrow and film a virtual tour of the house. My mom made a sling for me before she left with the Maya baby sling pattern and it has come in so handy around the house. Allie loves to help me vacuum and she even holds the cord for me while I maneuver around furniture! She's such a little helper!
I had to rush off for a quick photo session and then as soon as I got home, went straight into making a few batches of baby food. I am super fond of butternut squash now so I made up a few of those in addition to some recipes out of Top 100 baby purees that I picked up at Buy Buy Baby a while ago. This is my favorite recipe book so far!
I'm just now settling down to some R&R...and it's 9:00! Whew!
Here are some oh-so-adorable pics of Allie today (but then, aren't they all?!)
I caught Allie during her nap with her feet poking out of her crib!! It just made me smile!

Man, was she a happy, happy baby when she woke up, though...

I made the mistake of putting this "I love my Sugar Daddy" shirt on her today. It happens to be blue...but also happens to have red sparkly lettering on it. Everyone that we came across today said, "Oh, he's such a cute baby." Red sparklies...wouldn't put that on a boy...but then again, she does look like a boy.
