To offset the dump truck play time, my mom and I broke out the bows today! Allie's hair is long enough that we can put them in her hair for just a little while before they fall out or she pulls them out! Allie had such a good time dumping out the bows (most of them courtesy of Kelly!) and then putting them back into the basket one by one!

And as I was editing this one - I couldn't help but see myself in this image.....spooky....

I introduced my mom to Kim, a korean lady that works in my previous place of employment, and they've become friends. Kim wanted to take us out for lunch today, so we met her out and had a nice lunch today. Allie was a little piggy and ate EVERYTHING from noodles, to cottage cheese, to bread, then on to jello and watermelon.
She was entertained by the server...I'm sure she was thinking, "Wait a second....you look like..."

And then - on the way home.... :-)

And then the last image for today and a little Korean lesson for you:
I've tried to Google this to get a better explanation, but can't find anything, so bear with me. This is the most American-ized explanation ever!
Phonetically, the phrase "uh-boo-by" ultimately translates to carrying a baby on your back. Why would you do that? I don't know - my mom has just always done it. She has wrapped a blanket around her and strapped us to her back for as long as I can remember. I'm assuming so the baby can be close to the mother while the mother worked around the house or out in the fields - whatever the case may be - that is what she has always done and is now doing with Allie...and Allie absolutely loves it! (Lisa - If you can provide a better, more thorough explanation, please leave me a comment - it would be much appreciated!) Here's my mom and Allie...
