Jenn here again - what a crazy, long and boring day today! First off - let me start by saying I love, love, love this picture of Allie. What a mischievous face she has on her!! Oh - how my heart and soul literally ache for Allie. I've done good with not getting emotional on this trip so far - keeping the trip in the forefront of my mind and constantly looking at photos of Allie to remind me what she looks like when she smiles and giggles. Mom told me today that she said, "Cockadoodle-doo" after going over all the animal noises in one of her books. How cute....
We left St. Charles early this morning and drove through the ENTIRE state of Nebraska today. Corn as far as the eye can see. BORING!!!!!!
But as we entered into Wyoming, I got to see a gorgeous sunset. God has blessed Rhonda and me on this trip and everything has fallen into place for us. It was weird that during the ENTIRE trek across Nebraska - there wasn't one cloud in the sky. As soon as we got toward the border of Wyoming, God blessed us with this beautiful artwork! I took it as if he was winking at me and letting me know he was with me.
